Christine Shiffman is a member/partner of Johnson Cook Abbott Ahrens & Shiffman, PLLC. Christine has dedicated much of her legal career to the practice of family law. Christine handles all aspects of family litigation, including adoption, appeals, custody, child support, divorce, and domestic violence. Christine prides herself on being a tactical attorney, working to maintain control and confidence for her clients during the entirety of their case. She also brings her unique perspective and background of having been a Staff Attorney for many years in Jefferson County Family Court, seeing firsthand what is most persuasive and effective in court.
Christine is a graduate of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she met her husband Corey, who she also practices with. While in law school, Christine was involved in oral advocacy and was the President of the Moot Court Board. Though she is originally from Massachusetts, she now calls Louisville her home with her husband and children.
