NICOLE TYLER COOK

Nicole Tyler Cook is a member/partner of Johnson Cook Abbott & Ahrens, PLLC. Her legal practice primarily includes work in the area of domestic relations, including divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, domestic violence and prenuptial agreements.

Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2002 and returned to Kentucky to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2005.

Nicole has focused her practice exclusively on family law since being admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 2006. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Louisville Bar Association. Nicole was the President of the Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County in 2011 and remains an active member of this organization. Nicole served for a number of years as a Court appointed Guardian Ad Litem for abused or neglected children in the Jefferson County Family Courts; she continues be appointed and serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Jefferson Family Courts in domestic relation matters, including divorce, child custody and adoptions.

A native of Shelby County prior to attending law school, Nicole resides in Louisville with her family.
